 ABOUT THE PRODUCT

 Star*Shine^®Ex·SEL·lence E is a Vitamin E and Selenium supplement available in a loose, meal form, that can be top-dressed over the daily ration.  Designed to be fed to all classes of horses and livestock.  This supplement can be offered when the hay or forage is of low quality or  when the selenium level is known to be deficient or inadequate in the total diet.  It is recommended that hay or forage be tested for selenium level before feeding selenium supplements.  Follow feeding instructions closely. 

The features of this supplement include:

· 100% if the selenium in this supplement is from Alltech’s Sel-Plex, a source of organic selenium derived from yeast (in the form of selenomethionine).

· 100% of the Vitamin E in this supplement is from natural sources (d-alpha-tocopherol or RRR-alpha-tocopheryl acetate).  Natural source Vitamin E is more bioavailable to the animal and is retained in the body longer than synthetic sources (dl-alpha-tocopherol or all-rac-alpha-tocopherol).

HOW TO FEED

Top dress Star*Shine^®Ex·SEL·lence E  with daily ration as follows: 

For Sheep and Goats:  Feed ¼ to ½ lb (or 4 to 8 oz) / head / day. CAUTION: DO NOT exceed ½ lb (or 0.7 mg of selenium) / day.  

For Horses and Cattle: Feed ½ to 1 lb (or 8 to 16 oz) / head / day. CAUTION: DO NOT exceed 2.5 lb (or 3.0 mg of Selenium) / day.

Available in 10 lb buckets or 50 lb bags.

 CAUTION

 Follow label instructions.  Feeding selenium at levels in excess of 0.3 ppm in the total diet is prohibited.

Store feed in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.
