ABOUT THE PRODUCT

14% ShowFlake Calf Grower is a texturized sweet feed, for weaned beef show calves weighing ~600-800 lbs. Designed to promote growth and muscle development while adding bloom and condition for calves being raised for show. Made with high-quality, palatable, ingredients to encourage consistent intake. It provides a high level of protein and energy plus adequate fiber to insure proper digestion. Loose beet pulp shreds and cottonseed hulls have been included as a source of “bulky” fiber.

14% ShowFlake Calf Grower is specially formulated with Zinpro’s Availa-4 complexed (chelated) trace minerals, Ralco’s CoMax, a source of organic Cobalt, and Alltech’s Sel-Plex, Yea-Sacc and Bio-MOS products. Bio-MOS is the original natural solution to intestinal issues and can be used in natural beef programs. It promotes good bacteria in the gut and inhibits certain pathogenic bacteria, thereby maximizing calf health and performance.

This feed is for show calves weighing ~600-800 lbs.

HOW TO FEED

Feed to calves at the rate of 1 - 2 lbs/100 lbs of bodyweight along with high quality hay or roughage. Offer free-choice access to white salt and fresh, clean water at all times. At ~750-800 lbs, switch the calves to 12% ShowFlake Calf Finisher.

CAUTION

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests. Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed. This product has been formulated specifically for beef cattle and is not intended for other species.
