MoorFat is a unique energy supplement for Show Swine, Show Sheep, Show Goats and for pre-farrowing and lactating sows. It can be used to increase ration energy density in pre-farrowing and lactation swine rations. MoorFat can be used to enhance condition and performance of exhibition swine, sheep, and goats. Components of MoorFat yield a smooth, well-defined body condition along with healthy skin and a glossy hair coat. Long-term feeding (at least 30 to 60 days) of MoorFat may provide a more preferred “finish” in exhibition livestock that are too lean in body composition. MoorFat can be used to conveniently increase energy levels when feed intake is depressed during stress or hot weather to keep show animals growing and/or performing at their peak and to meet energy needs during pre-farrowing and lactation.
Not a complete feed – must be fed according to the following directions.
Show Swine, Sheep, and Goats: MoorFat may be top-dressed over the daily ration at the rate of 2 to 4 ounces per head per day, not to exceed 10% of daily intake. If top-dressed over the daily ration at a rate greater than 4 ounces per head per day, additional vitamin and mineral supplementation may be required. MoorFat may also be mixed at the rate of 120 lb per ton (6%) in show swine, sheep, and goat rations. Pre-farrowing (10 to 14 days before farrowing: Mix 120 lb of MoorFat per ton (6%) in pre-farrowing rations. MoorFat may be top-dressed over the daily ration of sows and gilts at the rate of 0.4 lb per head per day. Lactation (farrowing to weaning): Mix 120 lb of MoorFat per ton (6%) in lactation rations. MoorFat may be top-dressed over the daily ration of sows and gilts at the rate of 0.7 lb per head per day.
