ABOUT THE PRODUCT

 20% Pig Start-Up DEN/CTC is a complete mini pellet feed for pigs weighing 15-30 lbs. This feed is designed to enhance growth and bloom on weaned pigs being prepped for show pig sales.  Can also be fed to starter pigs being raised for commercial grow/finish purposes.  *Elevated Zinc level to reduce the incidence of post-weaning scouring  and increased weight gain.  Medicated with Denagard (for the control of swine dysentery) and Chlortetracycline (for the treatment of bacterial enteritis and bacterial pneumonia); 2 day withdrawal time.   

HOW TO FEED

 20% Pig Start-UpDEN/CTC should be fed as the sole ration to pigs weighing from 13—25 lbs.

ACTIVE DRUG INGREDIENT

 Chlortetracycline…………….…..………...……………..400 g/ton

For the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella chloeraesuisand bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasturella multocida susceptible to Chlortetracycline.

 Tiamulin Hydrogen Funarate…………………………..35 g/ton

        For the control of swine dysentery associated with Brachyspira (formerly Serpulina or Treponema) hyodysenteriae susceptible to Tiamulin. 

WARNING

WITHDRAW 2 DAYS PRIOR TO SLAUGHTER.

CAUTION

 Do not feed to animals other than swine.  Use as the only source of Tiamulin and Chlortetracycline.  Swine being treated with Tiamulin should not have access to feed containing polyether inonophores (eg.  Monensin, Lasalocid, Narasin, Salinomycin and Semduramicin) as adverse reactions may occur.  If signs to toxicity occur, discontinue use of medicated feeds. 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Protect medicated feeds from excessive temperatures.  Do not store in warm temperatures, 104 F (40 C), for more than 7 days.

LIMITATIONS FOR USE: Feed continuously as the sole ration for 14 days.  Not for use in swine weighing more than 250 lb.  Feed approximately 400 g/ton of Chlortetracycline, varying with bodyweight and feed consumption to provide 10 mg/lb of bodyweight per day.

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for swine and is not intended for other species.

DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP DUE TO HIGH COPPER LEVEL.
