ABOUT THE PRODUCT

12% ShowFlake Calf Finisher is a texturized, sweet feed, for weaned beef show calves weighing ~800 lbs. to finish. This energy-dense feed is designed to support muscle shape and optimal finish in calves being finished for show.  Made with a combination of high-quality sources of starch (flaked and chopped corn) and fiber (crimped oats, loose beet pulp shreds and cottonseed hulls) to encourage and maintain consistent intake through the finish period.

12% ShowFlake Calf Finisher is specially formulated with Zinpro’s Availa-4 complexed (chelated) trace minerals, Ralco’s CoMax, a source of organic Cobalt, and Alltech’s Sel-Plex, Yea-Sacc and Bio-MOS products.  Bio-MOS is the original natural solution to intestinal issues and can be used in natural beef programs.  It promotes good bacteria in the gut and inhibits certain pathogenic bacteria, thereby maximizing calf health and performance. 

This feed is for show calves weighing ~800 lbs to finish.

HOW TO FEED

Feed to finishing show calves at the rate of 1 to 2 lbs / 100 lbs of bodyweight along with high quality hay or roughage.  Offer free-choice access to white salt and fresh, clean water at all times.  Top-dress with Star*Shine Supplementsto adjust the handle and balance of each calf as show-time approaches.

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for beef cattle and is not intended for other species.
