ABOUT THE PRODUCT

MoorMan’s Premix-Trate for Poultry can be used to mix diets for all life stagesof laying birds (intended for developing pullets and laying hens). This is not a complete feed, it must be mixed and fed according to the directions given below (also outlined on the tag).

Above rations may be full-fed or may be put out each morning in amounts that will be completely cleaned up by 4 p.m. each day. Provide grit free-choice, and keep water in front of chicks at all times. From 16-20 weeks of age, offer oyster shell free-choice.

The Laying Hen rations supply approximately 3.25% calcium. Additional calcium may be supplied by offering more limestone or supplementing with oyster shell fed separately or sprinkled on the feed. If mixed in the feed, the extra limestone or shell should not exceed 20 lbs per ton to avoid reduction in feed consumption. Do not allow shell to pile up in bottom of feeders. This may also interfere with desired feed consumption.

*Grain may be ground corn, wheat or milo (or a combination there of). It is advised the total diet not exceed 20% wheat. Oats or barley may be used but should not make up more than 50% of the grain component.

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests. Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed. This product has been formulated specifically for poultry and is not intended for other species.
