ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Iodized salt can be offered to all classes of horses and livestock on a free-choice basis when the diet is known to be low in Iodine content.  Iodine is necessary for proper thyroid function, which regulates metabolism, and is needed to support  fertility in breeding males and females.  Iodine supplementation can also be used to help reduce the incidence of foot rot.  Iodine deficiency would be marked by an enlarged thyroid (goiter), reduced conception rates, and retained placentas.

HOW TO FEED

Offer free choice in areas where animals eat, drink and loaf. Consumption can be controlled by number and placement of blocks.

Available in 50 lb blocks or 50 lb bags.
