ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Cobalt should be offered to ruminants (cattle, sheep, and goats) on a free-choice basis when the diet is known to be low in cobalt content and animals are cobalt deficient.  Cobalt is needed by rumen microbes for the synthesis of vitamin B₁₂. Vitamin B₁₂is involved in energy metabolism of propionate, which is especially important when high-concentrate diets are fed.  Animals deficient in cobalt will have decreased appetite, body weight loss, and poor growth rates.

HOW TO FEED

Offer free choice in areas where animals eat, drink and loaf. Consumption can be controlled by number and placement of blocks.

Available in 50 lb blocks or 50 lb bags.
