ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Santero Horse is a blend of high quality steam crimped oats, steam flaked barley, All*American Horse Supplement and Star*Shine EquiBloom OmegaPack. All*American Horse Supplement provides protein, vitamins, and trace minerals.

Star*Shine^®EquiBloom OmegaPack is a highly palatable, high fat, mini-pellet that can be fed to horses when enhanced body condition is desired. This supplement contains high-quality lipid-based ingredients that provide a source of omega-3 and 6 fatty acids (such as vegetable fat, rice bran, and flaxseed). Therefore, in addition to increasing body condition, the omega fatty acids in this supplement will improve coat and skin condition, and help in the reduction of pain associated with inflammation.

To minimize sugar content in Santero Horse, molasses is not added to the final mixture.

HOW TO FEED

Santero Horse should be presented to the horse slowly. A good rule of thumb is to mix 1/2of the new feed with 1/2of the old grain mixture for 3—5days. Afterward, feedaccording to the following chart. Ample amounts of fresh, clean water and good quality hay or high quality pasture should be furnished at all times. Keep in mind that the chart is only a guideline and the amounts may need to be adjusted, depending on the horse's condition, age,and level of activity.
