ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Mare’s Match® is the ideal milk substitute for foals. Mare’s Match® can be used as a replacement for milk when mares will not allow foals to nurse, foals are from sick mares, foals have an inadequate milk supply, or when the mare dies.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Use plastic cup provided to measure powder. Each cup holds 0.25 lb of powder. Mix 1 level cup of Mare’s Match® milk replacer in 1 quart of 110^o-120^oF water by slowly adding powder to the water while stirring. Feed at a temperature of 90^o-100^oF.

HOW TO FEED

Always provide clean and fresh water at all times

Feed Mare’s Match® according to the following chart. At two weeks of age, begin feeding AllêAmarican® Foal 16 and good quality forage. 

*Higher feeding rates are designed for larger foals where maximum growth rate is desired. Ponies should be fed at the lowest feeding rate for each age period

**Begin feeding in small amounts a high quality foal creep ration and fresh, clean water at all times. Gradually increases feeding rate over time.
