 ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Performance 14 Pellets is a high-energy pelleted horse feed that is fortified with vitamins and minerals with the performance horse in mind.  Performance 14 is designed to provide readily available energy and highly digestible proteins to horses under moderate to intense work / training conditions in an effort to maintain body condition and muscle shape.  

Performance 14 Pellets contain Alltech’s Yea-Sacc yeast culture, which aids with fiber digestibility, plus chelated trace minerals, beet pulp, and yucca extract (for reduced fecal odor). 

HOW TO FEED

Actual amounts to be fed will depend on forage quality, workload, and body condition of the horse.  Most horses will maintain good body condition at lower feeding rates due to the digestibility and energy density of the ingredients in this feed.  If fed below these recommended levels, an additional vitamin/mineral supplement is required to meet the horse’s nutritional needs. 

Horses under Moderate to Heavy Work, Lactating Brood Mares, and Breeding Stallions:  Feed at the rate of 5-10 pounds daily.  During periods or extremely heavy work, or when forage is poor it may be necessary to increase daily feeding by 2-3 lbs.   Introduce and adjust feeding rates slowly, over a 4-7 transition period.

CAUTION

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for horses and is not intended for other species.

DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP DUE TO HIGH COPPER LEVEL.

This product has been CERTIFIED by the Montana Department of Agriculture as Montana Noxious Weed Seed FREE.
