ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Performance 14 is a texturized feed that is fortified with vitamins and minerals at just the right levels for performance horses.  Performance 14 is designed to provide readily available energy and high digestible proteins to horses under moderate to intense work conditions.  Performance 14 contains yeast culture, which aids with the digestion process, high levels of chelated minerals that are more available to the horse, beet pulp, and yucca.  Yucca has proven to be especially valuable in the area of odor control and maintenance of the digestive tract pH.  Odor control becomes especially valuable to horses that are stalled frequently. 

HOW TO FEED

Performance 14 should be presented to the horse slowly.  A good rule of thumb is to mix 1/2of the new feed with 1/2of the old grain mixture for 3—5days.  Afterward, feed according to the following chart.  Ample amounts of fresh, clean water and good quality hay or high quality pasture should be furnished at all times.  Keep in mind that the chart is only a guideline and the amounts may need to be adjusted, depending on the horse's condition, age,and level of activity.

 During periods of extremely heavy work, or when forage is poor it may be necessary to increase daily feeding by 2 to 3 lbs.

 CAUTION

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for horses and is not intended for other species.
