ABOUT THE PRODUCT

 Star*Shine^®FatPack is a highly palatable, high fat, mini-pellet that can be fed to Sheep, Cattle, Goats, and Pigs when enhanced body condition is desired.  This supplement is designed with the show animal in mind.  Can be fed to “freshen” the handle and look of lean market animals or to provide extra fat cover as sale or show-time approaches.  

The features of this supplement include:

· Mammalian-based fat source that provides a “harder finish” and a “firmer handle” over the ribs than what vegetable-based fats can offer.

· Rumen by-pass fat (MegaLac) that provides a unique, controlled-release source of energy  without interfering with rumen fermentation.

· Provides a source of omega-3 and 6 fatty acids (derived from rice bran, and flaxseed) for improved coat and skin condition. 

 For Sheep, Cattle, Goats, and Pigs.

 HOW TO FEED

Feed Star*Shine^®FatPack when enhanced body condition is desired. Top dress this supplement along with daily ration.  Initially, feed at the rate of 2 to 3 ounces and increase the daily amount until the desired body condition is reached.  Do not allow animals free access to this product. 

Target feeding rates are as follows: 

Calves (< 600 lbs), Sheep and Goats:  2 to 4 oz / head / day. 

Calves (> 600 lbs):  ½ - 1 lb / head / day.

 Pigs:  4 to 8 oz / head / day. 

Available in 10 lb buckets or 50 lb bags.

CAUTION 

Store feed in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.
