 ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Meat Goat Grower M20   is a pelleted feed for all classes of meat goats after weaning. Show wethers on this feed receive  the right amount of protein, vitamins, and minerals for optimum growth and finish.  Use as a receiving ration for goats purchased at sales through 70 lbs or as a complete feed through the entire growing and finishing period.    Adult meat goats in production will benefit from addition of Meat Goat Grower to their daily ration.

HOW TO FEED

SHOW WETHERS:  Feed to growing wethers from weaning (40 lbs) to 70 lbs at the rate of 0.5-2.5 lbs/head/day depending on bodyweight and condition.  Additionally, provide free access to clean water and 10-20% of the wether’s total diet (roughly 1/4 lb/head/day) in good-quality hay.  During the holding or finishing phase, wethers should be transitioned to Meat Goat Final Touch M20.

BREEDING BUCKS:  Thin bucks and buck kids should be fed 2-4 lbs to attain a body condition score of 3.5 prior to breeding or during growth.  Bucks on a maintenance diet should receive 1-2 lbs of pellets/head/day to maintain condition. Feed along with pasture or hay.

CAUTION

CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing Monensin.  Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal.  Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of Monensin has been fatal in cattle and could be fatal in goats.  Monensin-medicated goat feed is safe for use in goats only.  Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reaction.  Do not feed to lactating goats.
