ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Llama and Alpaca Ration is a pelleted, highly fortified, high-roughage feed,that is designed to be fed as the concentrate portion of the diet along with hay or pasture plus the Ranch-O-Min Llama and Alpaca Mineral with added Copper.

HOW TO FEED

Adult Llamas:  Feed as the concentrate portion of the diet at the rate of 1 - 2 lbs/head/day, adjusting for body weight and condition.  See additional directions provided below*.

 Adult Alpacas:  Feed as the concentrate portion of the diet at the rate of ½ - 1 lb/head/day, adjusting for body weight and condition.  See additional directions provided below.

*Adult Llamas and Alpacas:  This pelleted feed is designed to complement and be fed along with Ranch-Way’s Ranch-O-Min Llama and Alpaca Mineral with added copper plus access to good quality alfalfa or grass hay, and/or pasture.  Always provide clean, fresh water.  Follow feeding instructions detailed on the label of the Ranch-O-Min Llama and Alpaca Mineral product.

 Crias:  This product can also be fed to crias as a free-choice creep feed, however the amount consumed will depend on the animal’s age, body weight, condition, and level of activity.  Ensure that free-choice intake during growth does not exceed 0.7 lbs. of pellets per 100 lbs of body weight / day.  Also provide good quality hay or pasture + water.

CAUTION

Store feed in a clean environment free of moisture, insects, rodents, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been specifically formulated for llamas and alpacas and is not intended for other species.
