ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Ranch-O-Mycin 4 GM is a pelleted product that contains 4 g (4000 mg) of chlortetracycline/lb  It is used at low levels in cattle feed for increased growth rate and at higher levels for control and treatment of specific diseases. 

HOW TO FEED

Calves:  Feed 1 lb/57 head to provide 70 mg/head/day for growth promotion and feed efficiency.

Beef Cattle and Non-Lactating Dairy Cattle:  Feed 1 lb/57 head to provide 70 mg/head/day for growth promotion, feed efficiency, and to aid in the prevention of liver abscesses in feedlot cattle.

Beef Cattle Weighing up to 700 lbs:  Feed 1 lb/57 head to provide 70 mg/head/day to aid in reduction of bacterial diarrhea and in the prevention of foot rot.

Beef Cattle:  Feed at the rate of 2 lbs/23 head (one lb/11.5 head) to provide 350 mg/head/day as an aid in the prevention of bacterial pneumonia and shipping fever (hemorrhagic septicemia),and to aid in reduction of losses due to respiratory infection (infectious rhinotracheitis, shipping fever complex).

WARNING

A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves.  Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. 

CAUTION

Store in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.
