ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Ranch-O-Block 37 is a free-choice protein supplement in the in the form of a 33.3 lb  high-protein block with 16.5% NPN (urea).  This supplement is designed to be fed to cattle maintained on crop aftermath (such as corn stalks) or in situations where adequate forage is available and grains are fed.  It is advised that adequate carbohydrates are available at all times for the animal to properly utilize the NPN, therefore fields and pastures should not be over-grazed so as to prevent unbalanced nitrogen digestion.

HOW TO FEED

This block is intended for cattle maintained on corn stalk fields or in situations where adequate forage and grain starch is available.  Initially, feed at the rate of 1.0 pound per head per day for the first few days, and then feed free-choice. Target intake should be 1-2 lbs/hd/day.  Consumption depends on quantity and quality of forage.  Distribute blocks over a wide area.  Do not feed when field has been damaged (due to drought or hail) and is known to be elevated in nitrates.   An adequate water supply and forage are essential, do not offer blocks when pastures or fields have been overgrazed.  It is recommended that a Ranch-O-Min Mineral be offered in addition to this supplement.

 Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for cattle and is not intended for other species.

 DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP DUE TO HIGH COPPER LEVEL.
