ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Ranch-O-Block 28% AN Block VTM is a highly fortified, free-choice feeding supplement in the form of a block.  This block provides protein, energy, vitamins and minerals to cattle maintained on medium to low-quality hay or pasture (< 7% CP) that need a boost in protein.  This cake can also be safely fed to cows maintained on crop aftermath, such as corn stalks.  As a rule of thumb, for every 1 lb of 28% Blocks offered, ½ oz of Ranch-Way’s Ranch-O-Min vitamins and minerals is provided

HOW TO FEED

Offer as a free-choice protein, vitamin and mineral supplement to cattle maintained on range pasture for a target intake of 1 to 4 lbs / head / day.  Feeding rate will vary depending on quantity and quality of available forage and animal condition.  Distribute blocks over a wide area.  Access to blocks may need to be limited, especially upon introduction, to prevent over-consumption.

This is not a complete feed, additional supplementation is required.  An adequate supply of long-stem forage or roughage (at least 1-2% of BW) and fresh, clean water should be available at all times.  As a rule of thumb, for every 1 lb of 28% Blocks offered, ½ oz of Ranch-Way’s Ranch-O-Min vitamins and minerals is provided.  Therefore, if feeding less than 4 lbs/hd/day of this block, it is advised that free-choice access to one of Ranch-Way’s Ranch-O-Min vitamin and mineral supplements be offered to meet the animal’s total dietary nutrient requirements.

  CAUTION

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests.  Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed.  This product has been formulated specifically for cattle and is not intended for other species.
