ABOUT THE PRODUCT

DDG Range Pellets 26% - This is a high-protein all-natural (no added NPN) supplement ideal for cattle maintained on medium- to low-quality winter pasture and/or if a medium- to low-quality hay is being fed. This supplement is comprised of dried distiller’s grains with solubles (DDGS) and sunflower meal, and has been fortified with Calcium (to balance the Calcium : Phosphorus ratio), plus Copper and Thiamine to offset the high Sulfur content inherent in distiller’s by-products. Fortifying the product in this way helps to reduce the risk of polioencephalomalacia that may occur in ruminants due to high Sulfur intake. This product is available only in the large 3/8” range pellets. It is recommended that the pellets be fed in a bunk, but may also be fed on the ground in certain range scenarios.

HOW TO FEED

Feeding rate for cattle is 1 – 4 lbs/hd/day. Feed in addition to an adequate supply of pasture or hay, plus free access to fresh, clean water. Mineral needs to be offered in addition to this feed.

It is not recommended that this product be fed to horses or other ruminants.

CAUTION

Store product in a clean environment free of moisture, rodents, insects, and other pests. Do not feed moldy or repugnant feed. This product has been formulated specifically for cattle and is not intended for other species.
