ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Ranch-O-Min 12-12 Mineral w/Bio-MOS & CTC4000 is designed to be offered to cow-calf pairs during calving and early lactation to support calf livability and promote efficient nutrient transfer from cow to calf.  This is a complete mineral with a 1:1 Calcium to Phosphorus ratio, designed to meet or exceed the trace mineral requirements of beef cattle maintained on alfalfa-based diets (low in phosphorus).  This mineral provides a source of mannanoligosaccharide (MOS) through AllTech’s Bio-MOS product.  Bio-MOS promotes beneficial bacteria in the gut and inhibits certain pathogenic bacteria, thereby maximizing herd health and performance. 

 HOW TO FEED

Each pound of this medicated mineral contains 2,000 mg of CTC. Feed to beef cattle under 700 lbs at the rate of 2.8 ounces per head per day to provide 350 mg of CTC.  Feed to beef cattle over 700 lbs at the rate of 0.5 mg CTC per pound of BW (example: 1,000 lb cow should be fed 4 oz of mineral to provide 500 mg of CTC per day).

For the control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex caused by Pasteurella spp susceptible to Chlortetracycline.
